This week's Save a Horse, Ride a CowBOY story is Second Chances by Yulliah.

Edward and Jasper have been in love forever. They met in the emergency room when Jasper crashed his motorcycle and Edward was the doctor who stitched him up. Their attraction was immediate and they quickly moved into a relationship. Over the course of the next nine years, both men hurt each other over and over again, ending their relationship many times. After messing things up the last time, Jasper is back to try to work things out. Is Edward willing to forgive or is it time to finally stop this vicious cycle and move on once and for all?

Yulliah did an incredible job conveying the raw, intense emotions between Edward and Jasper in this story. I could feel the confusion, pain and frustration each man experienced and often questioned if their relationship was healthy or merely co-dependent. This isn't a story filled with rainbows and puppies and fluff. Edward and Jasper experience real, deep-seated problems in their relationship. Neither man is perfect, each possessing his own issues and insecurities, which only seem to be exacerbated by their lack of communication.
