Jasper and Edward were once in a passionate, yet short-lived, relationship, but Jasper’s doubts, their age difference and his growing feelings for Edward caused him to send a heartbroken Edward away. Many months pass and memories begin to bubble to the surface when Jasper finds a picture of Edward he took long ago. After discovering the picture, hidden deep within his kitchen junk drawer, Jasper just can’t seem to get his former lover out of his mind.
While waiting to catch a flight to Seattle, Jasper finds a spot on the floor in the busy terminal to relax until boarding starts. By some coincidence, or twist of fate, he soon finds himself face-to-face not only with Carlisle, Edward’s father, but Edward himself. Their reunion is tense, to say the least, but with a little maneuvering and coaxing by Carlisle, Edward and Jasper finally start to talk.
I loved this one-shot from the first moment I read it. FFReaderRW does an incredible job of capturing the emotions and awkwardness between Edward and Jasper. You will find yourself on the edge of your seat wondering if Edward will forgive Jasper or if he’ll walk away for good.
