This week’s tasty slash treat is Eye Candy by Whitlock-Masen!Whitlock-Masen is the extremely talented writing team consisting of Naelany and SorceressCirce. They have written many incredible stories, a few of which I definitely plan on featuring soon. Their stories always manage to capture your attention with their realistic characters and emotive writing.
Eye Candy tells the story of Jasper Hale, a candy shop owner, who finds himself completely enthralled with a very persistent college student, Edward Masen. Jasper tries to come up with every excuse he can not to pursue him, but Edward refuses to back down. He wants Jasper and will have him, period. Eye Candy is filled with plenty of twists and turns, and a whole lot of fluffy goodness! *swoon*
The story is told in drabbles, updated daily. The really cool thing about this story is that there will be one drabble for each day of the year in 2011. I’ve never encountered authors willing to take on that challenge and now, over 250 chapters into the story (at the time of this post), I couldn’t be happier! I’ve followed the story since day one and it just manages to get better and better.
