This week for my rec I’ll be introducing a fantastic little fic rec’d to me by another Darlin’, mw138 J
It’s called Revenge is a Dish Best Served Cold by KM525 and was originally written for the Quickie Contest, which you had to write fic in under 500 words. The original was great but the good news is, she’s expanded it!
Bella comes home from work early to find her husband in bed with another woman. She’s so angry that she ends up in a dive bar searching for someone to help her seek her revenge. Who better than our very own sexy cowboy Jasper, right? Yes! Fuck, yes!
They go back to his place and exact their revenge. Then Bella slips out in the morning to go confront her husband. The problem is, Bella feels a connection with this stranger.
Next chapter, from Jasper’s POV gets into more detail and at four chapters into the fic, the POV’s alternate and I love this Bella! She’s not a whiny, helpless, sniveling girl, she’s strong and angry, and not about to sit back and get walked all over!
