Save a Horse, Ride a CowBOY: Extreme Measures by Touchstone67

Sometimes Jasper would rather ride a boy than his faithful steed...

I’m really excited to rec Extreme Measures by Touchstone67 this week!

Many of you may be familiar with Touchstone67’s wildly popular stories If on a Winter’s Night and Mergers & Acquisitions, which are incredible in their own right, but I was absolutely blown away by this lesser known story of hers. A friend suggested I read this one shot a few weeks ago and I instantly fell in love with it!

Extreme Measures tells the story of Edward, who is hopelessly in love with Jasper, but this isn’t your typical romantic tale. Edward is obsessed with Jasper and is quite deluded when it comes to the current state of their relationship. At one time, he and Jasper were happy and in love, but things took a turn when Edward’s jealousy and temper consumed him. Even though they’ve broken up, Edward, in his mind, still believes they are a couple…regardless of the fact that Jasper’s moved on and is very happy in a new relationship.

I don’t want to give away too much because this story’s twists and turns will utterly captivate you. Extreme Measures has dark themes and on quite a few occasions Edward will send chills through you with his calculated actions and ulterior motives. However, by the end I found myself rooting for him and actually happy for him. Logically, I shouldn’t have felt that way at all, but you’ll just have to read the story to understand. *giggle*

If you’re a fan of stories that are not only intriguing, but have you on the edge of your seat, Extreme Measures is the one to read! It’s worth every minute!
