Its that time again and I have some very important blog news before I bring you anything going on in the fandom. Our awards have started taking nominations for Everything's Bigger in Texas awards!! You can nominate until August 22nd, 2011. Every fic nominated, besides the classic category, has to have been published after June 1st 2010. Get out there and nom your favorites!!!

I have a contest for you, Twilight Fanfic Advocacy are hosting their first ever contest. The TFA Summer Fantasy contest is taking submissions until the 31st of August, is anonymous and has a 12,000 word maximum. So write us your best summer fantasy!!

For all you slash lovers there was a new contest announced this past week, Born This Way contest. Submissions are to be anonymous and will be accepted until August 31st. Slash pairings only, and a maximum of 6,000. Show us your best!!
