Hello, again!

Last week I suggested a writing partner as a cure for writer's block. I hope you tried it.

This week I want to try something a little harder.

Everywhere I look, I see authors in the fandom having severe writer's block while writing...lemons.

Lemons.

Hmmm...

They're our favorite part of a fic to read, and yet, the hardest to write, for many.

Perhaps we stress ourselves out, knowing that it is a key part of the plot, and is going to be read very thoroughly?

Maybe the subject matter makes us uncomfortable while writing...

Maybe, the thoughts of possibly exposing our own desires are hindering us?

Regardless of the reasons, we have trouble writing them.

I want to change that...

So, on top of the usual prompts, I want to see you do a drabble or an O/S, that is a lemon.

100 words...How could Jasper get into your pants...in 100 words? (or Bella's, Alice's...whoever's.)

I expect this to be very challenging. I may give it a shot, myself.

The Rules:

There will be a new prompt each Friday for the rest of the month.

Take one of the prompts and use it to write a drabble, or, if your creativity has been sparked by all three, you can write a 1000 to 5,000 word O/S. The O/S submissions need to include all three prompts in some form.

Once a month we will be reviewing the best submissions for each week. Submissions sent in from the first week in May will also still be reviewed.

The authors who best capture the spirit of the prompt each week, both for the single prompt drabbles, and the three prompt O/S’s, will be posted on our site and receive an ‘I Beat The Block’ banner.

The author with the best usage of the prompts overall for that month will also get to be a Darlin’ For A Day, where you will get to review one of your favorite authors!
