Today we review A New Love by Jasper's Darlin Kathy.

This is one of the first stories I beta’d right from the very beginning, so I’m extremely attached to this one. Jasper’s Darlin’ Kathy has taken the traditional J/B tale and spun it in a whole new direction. She has created interesting, likable characters and has provided new, original love interests for some of the Cullen clan. The title explains more than you realize. You have to read to see what I mean.

Edward and Alice have done something awful. Can Jasper and Bella find comfort in one another? Plus, this Bella is OOC in a really good way! Her Jasper is caring, protective and very sexy. Their love for one another seems to grow with each chapter as they journey through their new life together. It’s not only a love story between J/B, but a tale of a family unit. They all love one another and care for each other the way a true family would. She even finds a way to incorporate Charlie into their lives.

Kathy did such an incredible job with this story, and now I’m pleased to be the beta on the sequel; A Forbidden Love. Wait until you see who is in love this time.

I adore this fic. It was one of the earlier fics that I had read when I was first introduced to Fan Fiction and has remained one of my favorites ever since.

Jasper leaves after he almost attacks Bella in New Moon. He finally returns a few days later to find that his family has left him behind with nothing but a note. Jasper seeks Bella out to apologize, but the unexpected happens and sparks fly. Happy to be together, they soon find themselves on journey of telling their family, who have their own problems. There are so many twists and turns, it left me on edge to read it. I won't go into details to keep from spoiling it for others, but I will tell you it is worth the look as it is fabulously written and Kathy's Jasper is just all kinds of swoon worthy.

I got back occasionally and reread this fic from time to time. It isn't all fluffy bunnies for them, but their love is strong and beautiful in this fic. Please go give this a read. It is wonderful and you will not be disappointed.

This is one of those stories I can go through and read over and over. It's such a natural progression for these two, and that's something I really like in a fic. It's not rushed, and Jasper is great. In fact, he's one of my favorite Jasper's out there.

The two of them have to work for their love, and that's how it is in real life. Kathy keeps us in tune with the couples emotions. Jasper is, to sum it up, absolutely fantastic, as well. He's caring and protective of Bella, who relies so heavily on him.
