Sometimes Jasper would rather ride a boy than his faithful steed...
This week’s wonderfully slashy rec is In the Corner by marriedmyedward.
In the Corner is an angsty, heartstring-pulling, tear-inducing piece of greatness! Jasper has been in love with his best friend, Edward, forever. After a drunken night in which the two of them share a kiss, Edward flees and disappears for months, taking a job in Chicago. Feeling he’s ruined things with this best friend, Jasper falls into a deep depression, finding solace in a lone booth in the corner of his favorite watering hole. Even though friends try to cheer him up, nothing seems to help. When Edward returns unexpectedly, both men know their relationship will never be the same.
I have been following this story since day one and it only gets better and better with each passing chapter. Jasper’s feelings are so tangible that you may find yourself clutching your heart because his pain feels so real. He and Edward experience a rollercoaster of emotions as they try to sort out their feelings and relationship status, but it’s a ride that’s definitely worth it!
Please check out In the Corner! You won’t be disappointed!
