This week, I've scoured my favorites and jumped from author to author looking for a good, underappreciated fic for you all, and boy have I found a great gem. This story is called Heart of Stone by the fabulous HoochieMomma.

Written for the Love Actually contest, it took second place and it's very well deserved.

It's a story of love and loss. Jasper loses his mother in a car accident and his twin sister Rosalie gets adopted right away. Jasper spends most of his childhood in different homes until an angel picks him and adopts him into their family of lost boys. Esme and Carlisle Cullen take him in and do their best to build him up and fix the broken boy he is.

But how can one be fixed when half of who they are is missing. Jasper has had only one memory left of his precious Rosie and it's of them on a beach watching the water and he picks up a stone. When he loses everything he's ever known, he keeps that stone with him all the time so he can remember his sister.

When the stone gets lost, Jasper loses his mind. I can't tell you how much I loved this story and I think you will too! So go ahead and check it out, but don't forget to review! I'm really really thinking we need to show this story some realy love.
